GROUND RULES:

ALL CONTESTANTS: Re-entries, if needed, will be accepted for available positions on 48 hours after entries close from 8am-2pm. See Rodeo Entry Information on Rodeo Schedule.

CONTESTANTS: Maximum 24 entries. One go-round with top 2 in each event per day will have a $1000 Bonus Shoot Out round. Bonus Shoot Out will count for standings.

QUALIFICATIONS: Based on Top 50 2019 standings as September 30, 2019. If the qualifications are not filled by contestants with dollars won leaving open positions; the remaining openings will be filled by a random draw of card holders. If there are still open positions, all remaining openings will be filled by a random draw of permit holders.

RE-ENTRIES: Re-entries will be accepted where the actual entries accepted during the original entry period were less than the limit. Entries will be re-opened sometime prior to the event stock draw. Contestants that enter during the re-entry period will be placed in the remaining available positions. All re-entries will be accepted to fill the vacant positions not to exceed the original limit defined in the ground rules (based on “money won” qualifications).

** A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an event if he is already placed in a position at another CPRA sanction rodeo/event on the same day that will place him in a conflict. **

ALTERNATES: Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry but were drawn out will be added to an alternate list. These contestants will be notified of any turn-outs or doctor releases and be given the option of re-entry up to the turn out deadline 3 hours prior to rodeo performance. In the rough stock an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing, and they will draw stock from a pool of animals consisting of all turned out stock and all re-ride stock for that performance.

WALK UP REPLACEMENTS: Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may, in person, check with the rodeo secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, by random draw of all walk ups available, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing, in the rough stock they will draw stock from a pool of animals consisting of all turned out stock and all re-ride stock for that performance.

STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. Contestants who qualify for the shoot out may be requested by the committee to draw their own animal from a hat containing poker chips inscribed with animals' numbers in the arena or other designated area prior to the finals. This determination may be based on production factors.

SHOOT OUT STOCK: The order of the bulls to be used in the shoot out will be designated by the committee and/or event representative and listed in order on the judges sheets prior to first go of competition. The contestant with the lowest score will be listed first and the contestant with the highest score will be listed last with an animal already designated to that position. The order of any ties will be determined by a random draw by the judges.

CONTESTANT INFORMATION:
-Each contestant can have 1 (one) companion
