GROUND RULES:

CONTESTANT INFORMATION:
- Rodeo grounds are located at the Millarville Farmers Market or Millarville Racing & Ag Society grounds. The address is: 306097 – 192 Street Millarville, Alberta. That is the corner of Highway 549 & 192 Street West. A direction map is included the Okotoks Pro Rodeo website.
- Contestants will use a separate contestant entrance and parking area. Parking attendant will direct you to a parking spot and help you park (FOLLOW THEIR DIRECTIONS).
- Contestants check in to the rodeo office located in a trailer by the sand arena east of the rodeo arena.
- Slack will start at 9:00 am on Saturday, August 28, 2021.
- Order of each performance is as follows: Barrel Racing; Bareback Riding; Steer Wrestling; Saddle Bronc Riding; Tie Down Roping; Mutton Busting; Wild Pony Racing; Contract Act; Novice Bareback Riding; Novice Saddle Bronc Riding; Boys Steer Riding; Team Roping; Bull Riding.
- Slack will follow the same order as the order for performance.
- No riding is permitted in the rodeo arena 2 hours prior to the start of each performance, nor prior to the start of slack.
- No riding in the indoor arena.
- Contestants please DO NOT clean out your truck and trailer on the rodeo grounds, or parking area. There are bins located in the contestant area for manure. Separate bins in the contestant area for garbage.
- Contestant Information Package and drink ticket at the Rodeo Contestant Office at check in.
- Companion pass holders must enter through the CPRA Rodeo Office, and receive their companion wristband, and enter the companion viewing area via the security at that entry point. Companion passes will not be valid at any other entry point.
- Friday, August 27, 2021 is Salute to Our Troops Night – Please Wear Red.
- Covid guidelines in place at the time of the rodeo shall apply. Please watch for covid signs and additional Covid information relative to the Okotoks Pro Rodeo as it becomes available. Information will be posted on our website, social media and transmitted to the CPRA office.
- Okotoks Pro Rodeo will be hosting Chutes Tours with our sponsors, we would appreciate if you would advise the Rodeo Secretary if you are available to help with hosting our sponsors tours, or contact: renne.reidy@gmail.com.
