| CONTESTANT INFORMATION: (Please see recent additional notes below - particularly about truck/trailer routes to Merritt Rodeo Grounds) |
- No Barrels to be set up
- Arena must be cleared one hour before slack & performances.
- Contestant parking will be clearly marked
- Contestants welcome in sponsor or contestant lounge
- Please clean up around trailers and dump manure in receptacles provided
- Spare will be used for any re-runs in timed events |
ROUTES TO RODEO GROUNDS
The 2021 flood knocked out the Voght Street bridge which has not been replaced – do not come straight through Merritt!
And,
DO NOT use Google or GPS instructions or you will end up where the bridge is gone and have a horrible time turning around!
Truck route (best for rigs):
• Exit Coquihalla Highway 5 at exit 286, follow directions to enter the town of Merritt – same if coming in on the Coquihalla Connector Highway 97C
• Turn LEFT on Coldwater Road just at the edge of built-up part of Merritt
• Turn RIGHT on Pooley Avenue, the 3rd road on the right off Coldwater
• At T intersection, turn LEFT on Houston Street
• At T intersection, turn RIGHT on Midday Valley Road
• Turn LEFT onto Lindley Creek Road
• Turn RIGHT into the rodeo grounds which are just past the school
• Stay right and drive to the parking area behind and east of the livestock pens.
Friday Night Super-Informal Chili Dinner
At around 6 pm on the concourse behind the grandstands at the rodeo grounds, we are welcoming sponsors, contract personnel, officials, volunteers, and any contestants who have arrived, for a super informal chili-and-a-bun dinner.
- Adult beverages will be available by donation. |

+CRES & other associate fees with be charged in addition to all entry fees as per the rule book.
