GROUND RULES:

1. TDR, SW, TR, LBR - Maximum of 60 contestants. If the qualifications are not filled by contestants with dollars won leaving open positions; the remaining openings will be filled by a random draw of card holders then semi-pro card holders. If there are still open positions, all remaining openings will be filled by a random draw of permit holder.

2. Priority will be given to blended CPRA/PRCA money earners as of June 3, 2019 and 2018 CFR/NFR qualifiers.

3. Turn out/Alternates: Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry but were drawn out will be added to an alternate list. These contestants will be notified of any turn-outs or doctor releases and be given the option of re-entry up to the 3 hours prior to rodeo turn out deadline. If stock has already been drawn in the rough stock they will draw stock from a pool of animals consisting of all turned out stock for that performance and all re-ride stock for that performance.
Walk Up Replacements: Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry but were drawn out may, in person, check with the rodeo secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, by random draw of all walk ups available, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing, in the rough stock they will draw stock from a pool of animals consisting of all turned out stock for that performance and all re-ride stock for that performance. If stock has already been drawn in the timed events contestant will receive the stock that has been drawn for that contestant. Contestants must check in with rodeo secretary prior to rodeo.
*If a contestant notifies a turn-out, DR or visible release and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. If the contestant that notified the turnout or visible release is not replaced by an alternate, they will be responsible for the entry fee. If a contestant properly doctor releases they will not be responsible for entry fees.

4. Disrespect towards WLSA volunteers, committee members, or paid employees will not be tolerated.

5. Any re-runs in the timed event the spares will be used.


CONTESTANT INFORMATION:

- Performance Order: 1st & 2nd performance BB, TDR, SB, SW, mountain race, intermission, LBR, wild horse racing, TR, JSR, BR. 3rd & 4th performance: BB, TDR, SB, SW, NSB, mountain race, intermission, LBR, wild horse racing, TR, JSR, BR.
- Novice Saddle Bronc entries only for Saturday June 29 and Sunday June 30.
- The barrel racing pattern will be set up so that the barrel racers enter the arena from the north end gate.
- Portable pens set up beside contestant trailers may not be larger than 10x10
- Contestants selected to be introduced each day, as a representative of their event will participate by either riding into the arena from the south end gate or waving from the chutes.
- Timed event contestants must stay behind the large gates until they are on deck and must vacate the arena immediately upon completion of their run.
- Due to heavy traffic and congestion during the rodeo, contestants are asked to park in the infield area designated for contestant parking
