Ground Rules:
Saddle Bronc
- Points will count toward 2010 Canadian Standings
- Permits maximum to 45 entries
- The top fourteen (14) entries based on earnings will be seeded to the Saturday, June 5 performance. The fourteen (14) seeded positions will come from the following:
- All past World Champions
- All past Canadian Champions
- 2009 NFR qualifiers
- Contestants with three (3) previous NFR qualifications
- Final 2009 Canadian standings
- Balance of entries will compete on Friday, June 4 for a purse of $2,500 plus entry fees ($50).
- The top six (6) entries from Friday, June 4 will advance to the Saturday, June 5 performance. The 2009 Canadian standings will be used to break any ties relating to the advancement to the Saturday performance.
- If there is a turn out for the Saturday performance, replacement will come from Friday, June 4 performance.
- Saturday, June 5 performance will consist of twenty (20) contestants competing for a purse of $14,000 plus entry fees ($125).
- The top six (6) from the Friday night performance must re-enter for Saturday.
- Saturday’s performance will have two (2) go-rounds of twenty (20) entries and a six (6) man short-go.
- Each go-round winner and the top four (4) on two head will advance to the short-go.
- If go-round winners are also in the top four (4) on two head, the remaining spot(s) will be filled by the highest contestant on two head.
Saturday’s Payout
- 25% of the total purse for each of the first two (2) go-rounds
- 50% of the total purse for the short go
- Short go will pay four (4) places – 40%, 30%, 20%, 10%
Boys Steer Riding
- Cattle for the Boys Steer Riding will be mature animals that have been previously bucked
- Under 15 entries – all contestants will compete on Friday, June 4
- Over 15 entries – contestants will be split over Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5
