I am both humbled and honoured to have been selected to assume the role of General Manager for the CPRA and Rodeo Canada effective March 16th. My wife Debbie and I made the move from Halifax to Airdrie in early March and leave behind many family members and friends in hopes of building new friendships and contacts in the West. We have two wonderful children, a 23 year old daughter who lives in Edmonton and a 20 year old son who remains in college in Nova Scotia.
My Dad was a bricklayer by trade who taught his two sons the value of hard work and integrity at a very early age. I will draw upon those core values as we work hard to grow the sport of Rodeo from coast to coast in Canada and beyond. My commitment to our industry is to honour our rodeo heritage while placing a strong focus on our future. My commitment to our members will be to work tirelessly to promote the cowboys and cowgirls who are so deserving of national exposure and are truly the core strength of our great sport of Rodeo.
TOGETHER WE WILL ACCOMPLISH MUCH!
Kindest regards,
Dan Eddy |
