Presented by the Gleichen & District Ag Society, the 5th Annual CPRA-PRCA Approved Gunners Bronc Battle enjoyed an exciting evening of action that saw Alberta cowboy Quinten Taylor top Yule Rodeo’s outstanding bronc –91 Mary Lou to the tune of 89 points and the Short Go win. (It was the second time the short go has been won on the back of Mary Lou.) Taylor pocketed $5000 for his efforts, which, when combined with an earlier fourth place cheque of $2016 in the Long Go, will see the 2005 CFR qualifier move into the top three (unofficially) in the Canadian standings.
