Ground Rules:

  1. Walk up Replacement (implemented for 2026 season) will be in place for this event based on CPRA 2026 standardized ground rules

Contestant Info:

  • Novice BB and Novice SB will only be offered on Friday Aug 21, unless greater than 6 entries- then entries will be split between Aug 21 and Aug 22 performances. If greater than 12 entries in a Novice event then draw will be split across all Rodeo performances
  • No riding is permitted in the outdoor arena 2 hours prior to the start of each performance, or prior to the start of slack
  • No riding in the indoor arena
  • There is a Sand Ring SE close to the Rodeo Arena that you can ride in.
  • Contestants please DO NOT clean out your truck and trailer on the rodeo grounds, or parking area. There are manure bins (marked MANURE) located in the contestant area for manure. There are separate bins for garbage, (marked GARBAGE) beside the manure bins.
  • Contestants must follow directions provided by parking attendants
  • Non-contestants are required to park in public parking area NO EXCEPTIONS
  • Companion passholders must enter through the CPRA Rodeo Office, and receive their companion wristband, and enter the companion viewer area via the security tat that entry point. Companion passes will not be valid at any other point. Only one companion per pass.
  • Any infractions of these rules, OPR Rodeo Committee and Security will record your license plate number or contestant/companion name, and it will be forwarded to the CPRA office.
  • Friday, August 21, 2026 is tribute to our Rising Stars Night
