Tyrel Roberts Flying High
In 2025, Tyrel Roberts qualified for his third CFR in 12th place with just over $20,000 won. With his recent win at the Outlaw Buckers & Oil Kings Bronc Match, his third in the last four CPRA events, the BC cowboy has already surpassed last year’s total, having pocketed $20,902.28 that has him sitting atop the Canadian standings.
The 25 year-old’s latest triumph was the result of an 88.5 point ride on the Calgary Stampede’s A-6 Annual News in the short round at the Weyburn bronc riding. Earlier, he had marked 84 points in the long go to get to the lucrative championship round. For Roberts the big win came on the heels of a two-win weekend at Leduc and Hand Hills and forms part of easily the best season start of the fourth year pro’s career.
