QUALIFICATIONS:
SB, BB, BR Qualifications: Maximum 48 based on Top 75 blended CPRA/PRCA standings as of July 10, 2026.
- Remaining positions, If the qualifications are not filled by contestants within the top 75 blended standings will next go down the CPRA standings, followed by contestants with dollars won in 2026 PRCA standings, the remaining openings will be filled by a random draw of card holders, then semi-pro card holders with money won, then random draw of semi-pro card holders with no money won. If there are still open positions, all remaining openings will be filled by permits with money won followed by a random draw of permit holders with no money won.
SW, TDR, TR, LBR, BAW Qualifications: Maximum 75 based on Top 100 blended CPRA/PRCA/WPRA standings as of July 10, 2026.
- Remaining positions, If the qualifications are not filled by contestants within the top 100 blended standings will next go down the CPRA standings, followed by contestants with dollars won in 2026 PRCA standings, the remaining openings will be filled by a random draw of card holders, then semi-pro card holders with money won, then random draw of semi-pro card holders with no money won. GROUND RULES:
- Re-Entries: will be accepted for available positions in the roughstock at a time set by the CPRA after entries close to coincide with other entry schedules (typically all events for a particular weekend that require re-entries will be held on the same day) from 10am-12pm. See rodeo entry information on rodeo schedule. A contestant that re-enters will not be placed in a position that conflicts with his position at another CPRA rodeo or event. Additionally, if all spots are full on initial entry, a contestant that re-enters will be added to the alternate list (where accepted) but will be placed at the bottom of the list below those that entered on original entry day regardless of qualifications.
- Standardized Alternate Replacement Procedure will be in place for this event based on CPRA 2026 standardized groundrules
- Walk up Replacement (implemented for 2026 season) will be in place for this event based on CPRA 2026 standardized groundrules
* Any contestant that is a replacement will be responsible for entry fees. Any contestant that notifies a doctor release, visible release, vet release, draw out, or a notified turnout will still be responsible for any entry fees they would incur regardless if replaced or not. Doctor releases are not responsible for entry fees as an example.
- Spares will be used for reruns in all timed events due to safety issues
- No cross entries from novice to open.
- Barrel racers must be ready to compete when called upon, defined as being mounted and in the lead-up alley. Failure to do so will result in a fine.
CONTESTANT INFORMATION:
- Track Crossing Times will be posted. No contestant parking in the infield
- Novice SB, BB Friday July 31st and Saturday Aug 1st
- BSR Friday July 31, Saturday Aug 1, and Sunday Aug 2, Slack will be Thursday July 30 if needed.
- Only contestants entered in the event being run will be allowed in the arena at any time
- No pre-conditioning of timed event cattle.
- The arena will be closed 2 hours prior to the slack and performances.
