  • TDR, SW, LBR, TR, BAW Qualifications – Maximum Sixty (60) contestants in each event, top 100 blended CPRA/PRCA standings, as of June 2, 2025 will be used to determine draw outs.  If the qualifications are not filled by contestants with dollars won leaving open positions; the remaining openings will be filled by a random draw of card holders then semi-pro card holders, then permits. If more than 60 contestants qualify from the above, then contestants with the least amount of money won from the 2024 season, and up to and including June 2, 2025, will be drawn out.
  • Sports Medicine on site during rodeo
  • Re-Entries All Events: If needed, will be accepted for available positions 48 hours after entries close from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. See rodeo information on the rodeo schedule. A contestant that re-enters will not be placed in a position that conflicts with his/her position at another association rodeo or event.
  • The barrel racing pattern will be set up so that the barrel racers enter the arena from the north end gate.
  • Arena ground work will be completed 1 hour before rodeo start.
  • Any re-runs on cattle in the timed events; the spare will be used.
  • Portable pens set up beside contestant trailers may not be larger than 10’ x 10’
  • Contestants selected to be introduced each day, as a representative of their event will participate by either riding into the arena from the south end gate or by waving from the chutes.
  • Timed event contestants must stay behind the large gates until they are on deck and must vacate the arena immediately upon completion of their run.
  • Due to heavy traffic and congestion during the rodeo, contestants are asked to park in the infield area designated for contestant parking.
  • Trophy buckles will be awarded to all event champions
  • Cowboy hospitality tent
  • Turn Out/Alternate Procedure: Turn out/ Alternates: Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry but were drawn out will be added to an alternate list. These contestants will be notified of any turnouts or doctor releases and be given the option of re-entry up to the end of the workday of the first day of the rodeo, then flip to a walk up replacement list. Any replacements will be considered walk-up replacements and must be done in person through the Williams Lake Rodeo Secretary. If stock has already been drawn in the rough stock, they will draw stock from a pool of animals consisting of all turned out stock for that performance and all re-ride stock for that performance.
  • Walk up replacements: Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry but were drawn out may, in person, check with the Williams Lake rodeo secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, by random draw of all walk-ups available, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing, in the rough stock they will draw stock from a pool of animals consisting of all turned out stock for that performance and all re-ride stock for that performance. If stock has already been drawn in the timed event contestants will receive the stock that has been drawn for that contestant.
  • If a contestant notifies a turn-out, DR or visible release and is replaced by an alternate, the alternate contestant will be responsible for the entry fees. If the contestant that notified the turnout or visible release is not replaced by an alternate, they will be responsible for the entry fee.
