The 2026 call for CPRA Rule Changes is now open.
Please send proposed rule changes to Director of Rodeo Tanner Girletz at rodeoadmin@rodeocanada.com prior to 4:00 pm June 23rd.
The CPRA Rules committee will meet in late July to suggest rule changes and additions to the CPRA Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will ultimately consider the recommendations from the Rules committee and pass any rules they see as being in the best interest of the sport of rodeo in Canada.
New rules / rule changes will be posted on the CPRA website and members portal after being passed by the Board of Directors to provide an opportunity for the membership to provide feedback on new/adjusted rules and, if deemed necessary by the Board, rule changes can be modified post feedback. All rules will be implemented for the start of the 2026 Rodeo season unless feedback warrants delay or adjustment.
