Precision Rodeo Series Returns for 2025
The Precision Rodeo Series, presented by Precision Well Servicing (PWS) and Precision Drilling (PD) is set to saddle up once again for the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association (CPRA) season, with a few changes to the event lineup for 2025.
Now in its second year, the Series will include ten events across western Canada kicking off May 29 in Leduc, AB and wrapping up in Hanna, AB in September. Contestants can earn points at all 10 events, with the top point earner in each major event (per side in Team Roping) and the top Breakaway Roper earning the Precision Rodeo Series Championship. Each winner will take home a $1,000 cash prize. Points will be awarded based on event placings—60 points for 1st place down to 10 points for 6th place—as well as a bonus 25 points for every event in the Series that a contestant enters.
The 2024 Series was a huge success, giving Precision the opportunity to engage with rodeo fans and customers in the same communities their folks call home. The partnership between PWS, PD and the CPRA is a natural fit as the sport of rodeo and the energy sector both run on hard work, grit, and strong family values. PWS and PD not only support the western way of life but also put money back into local committees and contestants’ pockets, while staying true to what these companies stand for.
