Our Condolences
Everyone at the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association was saddened to hear about the passing of Blair Vold in early May. A man committed to agriculture, rodeo and family, Blair was an icon in the livestock marketing industry. He also served as a volunteer and president of the Ponoka Stampede. Blair’s legacy will live on through his family and his impact on the sport and community. Our condolences to the Vold family and Blair’s many friends.
A Celebration of Blair’s life will be held at the Ponoka Stampede grounds grandstand on June 3, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. to allow for seating and Blair’s cocktail hour.
