The rodeo community extends condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Pascal Del Guercio who passed away June 11, 2026.
Born in Italy in 1950, Pascal came to Alberta at a young age. An electrician by trade, he became a builder, entrepreneur and businessman over the course of a long, successful career.
A rodeo supporter as well, Pascal served as Chairman of the Strathmore Stampede Committee for over forty years. He also volunteered for several terms on the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association board of directors and dedicated many years to the Calgary Stampede.
A Celebration of Life Service is planned for Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 1:00 pm at RockPointe Church, Bearspaw location (255024 Lochend Road, Calgary, Alberta), followed by a reception. For those who are not able to attend the Celebration of Life Service, a live stream is planned.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pascal’s memory to the Arthur J.E. Child Comprehensive Cancer Centre, Calgary, AB, via the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
