ALL CONTESTANTS:Re-entries, if needed, will be accepted for available positions 48 hours after entries close from 8am-2pm. See Rodeo Entry Information on Rodeo Schedule.
** A contestant will not be accepted as an entry at an event if he is already placed in a position at another CPRA sanction rodeo/event on the same day that will place him in a conflict **
CONTESTANTS: Maximum 30 entries. One go-round with a (top 10) finals (will not exceed 10). If there are not 10 qualified rides during the first go-round, all remaining positions will be filled by random draw. If the 10th place is tied going into the finals, the tie will be broken by random draw. *
QUALIFICATIONS: Based on top 50 blended CPRA and PRCA standings as June 9, 2020 (no less than 7 days before entry deadline). If the qualifications are not filled by contestants with dollars won leaving open positions; the remaining openings will be filled by a random draw of card holders. If there are still open positions, all remaining openings will be filled by a random draw of permit holders.
RE-ENTRIES: Re-entries will be accepted where the actual entries accepted during the original entry period were less than the limit. Entries will be re-opened sometime prior to the event stock draw. Contestants that enter during the re-entry period will be placed in the remaining available positions. All re-entries will be accepted to fill the vacant positions not to exceed the original limit defined in the ground rules (based on “money won” qualifications).
TURN OUT/ALTERNATES: Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry but were drawn out will be added to an alternate list. These contestants will be notified of any turn outs or doctor releases and be given the option of re-entry up to the turn out deadline 3 hours prior to rodeo performance. In the rough stock an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing, and they will draw stock from a pool of animals consisting of all turned out stock and all re-ride stock for that performance.
WALK UP REPLACEMENTS: Contestants who have originally entered and were eligible at time of entry may, in person, check with the rodeo secretary no later than 1 hour prior to the performance to confirm their availability and desire to be an alternate. If selected, by random draw of all walk ups available, an alternate will assume the competition position of the contestant that he is replacing, in the rough stock they will draw stock from a pool of animals consisting of all turned out stock and all re-ride stock for that performance.
STOCK DRAW: Stock will be drawn per the rulebook. Contestants who qualify for the finals may be requested by the committee to draw their own animal from a hat containing poker chips inscribed with animals' numbers in the arena or other designated area prior to the finals. This determination may be based on production factors.
FINALS STOCK: The order of the bulls to be used in the finals will be designated by the committee and/or event representative and listed in order on the judge’s sheets prior to the first go-round of competition.
PAY-OFF: $2000 will be held out for finals, pays 4 places, split percentage 40, 30, 20, 10. The remaining purse will be split 50% to the long round, pays 6 places and 50% to the aggregate, pays 6 places.
*In the event that there are not enough qualified rides in the first go-round, a random draw back list will be used to select contestants to fill the remaining positions in the finals. Contestants who did not have a qualified score in the first go-round and are drawn back to compete in the finals, will not be eligible to place in the aggregate. Money won by any contestant in the finals will count for standings.
