GROUND RULES:
1. SB, BB, BR Maximum of forty-eight (48) contestants in each event, CPRA/PRCA blended standings, as of May 21, 2019, will be used to determine draw outs.
2. SB, BB, BR, LBR- one go round with finals. The top ten (10) in each event will compete in the short go Sunday June 23, 2019.
3. SW, TDR, TR- Two (2) go rounds with a final. The top ten on 2 head will compete in the short go on Sunday June 23, 2019.
4. First go-round for SW, TDR, TR will be Wed June 19th @ 8am.
5. Enter for second (2nd) go, position will be reversed for first (1st) go.
6. Second (2nd) go trades permitted.
7. Once a paid performance has started, the arena will not be worked.
8. Ladies Barrel Racing: No tractor rake during the performance. Rake will be set by judges and committee.
9. No portable pens to be erected until after completion of slack Thursday June 20, 2019. Failure to comply will result in a two hundred and fifty ($250.00) fine.
 
FINALS:
1. $4,000 will be held out of the six (6) major events and $6,000 in team roping for the finals.
2. An additional $50 will be added to all fees (except steer riding) to be added to the finals purse to a maximum of $4,000 (including the committee purse) in six (6) major events and $6,000 in team roping. Remainder to be split between go-rounds and average.
3. LBR will run slowest to fastest in short go
4. No finals in the steer riding
5. Four (4) monies to be paid in short go
6. The top ten (10) in each event will compete in the short go Sunday June 23, 2019.
7. Current CPRA standings as of June 18, 2019 will be used to break any ties for the top ten (10) contestants/event in finals.
 
TURNING OUT OF THE FINALS:
Contestants who turn out of finals must notify the local office by Sunday June 23, 2019 no later than 12:00pm noon MDT.
Contestants who are notified turn out or contestants who are unavailable at the start of the section of their event will be replaced by the next available contestant; next is identified by the 2019 Wainwright Stampede Standings.
Wainwright Stampede reserves the right to roll contestants into the finals (to total 10 contestants) in the event of turn outs. In the case of ties, tie breaker rules decide the next contestant into the finals due to turnouts will be as follows:
  Current CPRA standings as of June 18, 2019 will be used to break any ties for the ten (10) contestants/event in finals.
Contestants who are rolled into the finals due to turnouts must have a qualified ride/time.
 
CONTESTANT INFORMATION:
- Infield track gate will be closed Thursday and Friday at 4:00 pm sharp.
- Buckles in all events.
- Slack at 8:00 am Wed June 19th - SW, TDR, TR & Thurs June 20th - SW, TDR, TR, LBR
- All horses are to be kept outside of rodeo arena one hour prior and during slack, and while the tractor is in the infield.
- Only the next contestant to go is to have their horse(s) in arena.
- Pre-conditioning of cattle will be Tuesday June 18th, at 7:00 pm
